Adolphe Giraldon ( 1855 – 1933 ) was born in Marseille. A pupil of Francois Louis Francais and Luc- Oliver Merson, Giraldon moved to live in Glasgow, where he became Professor of Decoratieve Arts at the Glasgow School of Art. The Beaux Arts in Toulouse has a number of Giraldon views of Venice. As a lithographer Adolphe Giraldon was a contributer to Estampe Moderne.
